Anybody know why Ross painted a little Darth Vader and Cyberman in the right hand side just above Rorschach's hat?

I don't know about the Cyberman, But Moore wrote a few stories for the UK Star Wars comic. Dark Horse collected them.

he also wrote for the Marvel UK Dr Who comic

He wrote a Cyberman story for the Dr. Who comic. Got a scan of it somewhere.

Because Ross is a Fake Fan turned Fake Pro who does Fake Superhero artwork. No one really wants to see superheroes that look realistic, with every seam in their suits and realistic textures.

Now why didn't I think to use that smiley, eh?

And it's the only time Moore did a Cybermen story. Otherwise Alex Ross lied to us and he would never do that

A pity, because that's my favorite of the credited Moore stories in Doctor Who. Most of them seem to be the worst sort of fan-wank and the attempt to bring super-heroes into them is just wrong on so many levels.

Steve Moores Cybermen stories were really good, and quite moving also ill dig out and show the last couple of panels of one.

Looking through that, I'm not 100% convinced it's right. Star Tigers part 1 is credited to Steve Moore, but Star Tigers part 2 is credited to Alan Moore. Seeing how Star Tigers has never appeared on any Alan Moore checklist I've ever seen, I'm thinking they might have mixed up a couple of stories.
