From the label:
"Touch Me", the classic 1986 debut album from perennial pop icon and pin-up Samantha Fox, is given a Deluxe Edition reissue on Cherry Pop.
"Touch Me" features four UK hit singles: the international smash "Touch Me (I Want Your Body)" (#3 UK and #4 US), "Do Ya Do Ya (Wanna Please Me)" (#10 UK), "Hold On Tight" and "I’m All You Need". Immediately establishing Samantha’s signature pop-rock sound, the album was certified gold on its original release, reaching #17 in the UK and #24 in the US.
Digitally remastered direct from the master tapes, this Deluxe Edition brings together the original 10-track album with an incredible 27 bonus tracks across two CDs.
Presented together with Samantha’s later work and on CD for the very first time are her early recordings for Lamborghini Records with her first band SFX - "Rockin’ With My Radio", "Aim To Win" and "Holding". Bonus tracks also include rare B-sides and many sought-after 12" mixes, the majority of which have never before been released on CD.
Compiled with personal input from Samantha herself, the extensive booklet also features reversible cover art, many additional photos, a fully illustrated discography and recording data, full lyrics and new sleeve notes written especially for this release.
The only British female artist to score three Top Ten hits on both sides of the Atlantic in the 1980s, Samantha Fox made her name as the nation’s favourite Page Three girl before launching an enviable music career. The anthemic "Touch Me (I Want Your Body)" became a global chart-topper in 1986 and was followed by a succession of hits, including several collaborations with both the legendary Stock Aitken Waterman and US hip-hop pioneers Full Force. Samantha remains a household name, with a new album planned for 2012 and live dates across Europe.
"Touch Me" coincides with accompanying Deluxe Editions of Sam’s other three Jive albums: 1987’s "Samantha Fox", 1989’s "I Wanna Have Some Fun" and 1991’s "Just One Night", and follows many other popular PWL-related reissues on Cherry Pop from artists such as Mel & Kim, Sinitta, Hazell Dean, Sonia, Boy Krazy, Brother Beyond, Pepsi & Shirlie and O’chi Brown.

From the label:
"Samantha Fox", the 1987 sophomore album from the perennial pop icon and pin-up, receives a Deluxe Edition reissue on Cherry Pop.
Developing Samantha’s pop-rock sound and broadening her appeal, "Samantha Fox" features five UK hit singles, the irresistible Stock Aitken Waterman classic "Nothing’s Gonna Stop Me Now" (#8), "I Surrender (To The Spirit Of The Night)" (#25), "I Promise You (Get Ready)", "True Devotion" and "Naughty Girls (Need Love Too)" (#31) – Samantha’s first collaboration with Full Force, which reached #3 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming her most successful single Stateside.
Digitally remastered direct from the master tapes, this Deluxe Edition brings together the original 10-track album with 20 bonus tracks across two CDs. Sought-after B-sides and many 12" mixes originally only issued on vinyl feature alongside two unheard tracks, "The Right Stuff" and "Hot Tonight", which was later reworked as "Hot For You" on Samantha’s 1989 album "I Wanna Have Some Fun". Also featured are unheard mixes of "I Surrender (To The Spirit Of The Night)" and Samantha’s cover of the Stones’ classic "(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction", which was initially considered for release as a sixth single from the album in mid-1988.
Compiled with personal input from Samantha herself, the extensive booklet also features many additional photos, a fully illustrated discography and recording data, full lyrics and new sleeve notes written especially for this release.

"I Wanna Have Some Fun", the third album from perennial pop icon and pin-up Samantha Fox, is given a Deluxe Edition reissue on Cherry Pop.
Originally issued in 1989, "I Wanna Have Some Fun" features three UK hit singles, "Love House" (#32), a Stock Aitken Waterman-produced cover of the Dusty Springfield classic "I Only Wanna Be With You" (#16), and the title track – Samantha’s second collaboration with Full Force, which hit #8 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming her third US Top 10 hit in two years. More danceable and eclectic than Samantha’s previous albums, "I Wanna Have Some Fun" also found her collaborating with a diverse selection of the world’s top producers, from Fred Zarr, Bolland & Bolland and Detroit techno legend Kevin Saunderson to Grammy-nominated rock luminary Chris Tsangarides.
Digitally remastered direct from the master tapes, this Deluxe Edition brings together the original 12-track album with 21 bonus tracks across two CDs. Many sought-after and previously unavailable mixes feature alongside Samantha’s featured appearance on the Full Force single "All I Wanna Do…" and two unreleased tracks recorded for the album but ultimately shelved – the Fred Zarr-produced "Shout It Out" and Stock Aitken Waterman’s "Too Late To Say Goodbye", subsequently recorded by Jason Donovan for his debut album "Ten Good Reasons".
Compiled with personal input from Samantha herself, the extensive booklet also features many additional photos, a fully illustrated discography and recording data, full lyrics and new sleeve notes written especially for this release.

From the label:
Perennial pop icon and pin-up Samantha Fox’s 1991 album "Just One Night", the last she released on Jive Records, is given a very special Deluxe Edition reissue on Cherry Pop.
· "Just One Night" features the classic single "Another Woman (Too Many People)" and two further overseas releases – the memorably-titled "(Hurt Me! Hurt Me!) But The Pants Stay On" and the title track, as well as a medley cover of Donna Summer’s "Love To Love You Baby" and the Andrea True Connection’s "More More More". The album found Samantha taking an increasing role in songwriting and collaborating with a range of producers including Clivillés and Cole, Full Force, Ralf-René Maué and Eric Foster White.
·Digitally remastered direct from the master tapes, this Deluxe Edition brings together the original 11-track album with no less than 23 bonus tracks across two CDs, including three unreleased Stock Aitken Waterman tracks recorded in early 1991. While "Forever True" was submitted to Jive for possible inclusion on "Just One Night", "A Second Chance" and Sam’s version of the Boy Krazy hit "That’s What Love Can Do" were left unfinished in the wake of Matt Aitken’s departure from PWL. Especially for this release, both tracks have now been completed ‘as they might have been’ in both 7" and 12" form by upcoming remixer/producer Matt Pop, using Sam’s original vocals.
·Compiled with personal input from Samantha herself, the extensive booklet also features many additional photos, a fully illustrated discography and recording data, full lyrics and new sleeve notes written especially for this release.

Samantha's hits were always a guilty pleasure. I particularly loved "(HURT ME! HURT ME!) BUT THE PANTS STAY ON"...a bonafide classic!

Little known fact to people that know me but I was a member of the Samantha Fox fan club. I carried my membership card with me for years until I met a guy who wanted it and a few other things I had and paid me $100 for it all.

I remember a Samantha Fox import disc for sale at the CD Superstore in Raleigh, NC, back in the 90's. What was noteworthy about it was that she was topless on the cover. I think I took a peek everytime I went to the store.

Soft porn star who tried to sing, I am stunned there are re-issues at all and even more stunned that not only are they being re-issued but have a lot of bonus tracks.

Big cans, saucy British accent, provocative song lyrics. Her success is not hard to understand. And when you add the nostalgia factor, these reissues are not hard to understand, either.

I saw her in concert back in the day and she was lots of fun in person. And she was a better singer than some folks here are giving her credit for. She scored three top 10 hits stateside and had 14 charting singles in the UK. Sort of a late-'80s version of Britney, in my book. Sam just added to her notoriety by flashing ta-tas on Page 3 instead of shaved beaver exiting a limo.
BTW, Samantha Fox the singer and model was born in 1966 and should never be confused with Samantha Fox, the mid-'70s porn star, who was born in 1951.

True, SM the porn star had an even larger chest (& couldn't sing)! Though for those who don't know THIS SM was a UK soft core porn model (mostly topless, but some bottomless also).
I think the Britney comparison is spot on with 1 difference: in Fox's day auto tune was mostly used for effects, & the performer needed to be able to actually sing. I have no reason to believe that Spears has ever recorded a note without auto tune, while Fox had a pleasant voice.
