Amazon has now dropped the Ram Deluxe Book Edition price to below the $100 mark (currently $90.99):

Nice! Thanks, Linda! I just read the description on amazon. Funny they include both sides if the one single, but leave off one side of the other, Mary Had A Little Lamb. Maybe because Mary is now vegetarian?

I could see them leaving it off if the title were "Mary Ate A Little Lamb," but otherwise....

"Mary Had A Little Lamb" is being saved for the Wild Life Super Deluxe Edition. (Just guessing.)

Sorry, Chris, it was a lamb -- I mean lame -- attempt at humor. I meant it as Mary had a little lamb ... for dinner.

Linda, you might be right. Maybe that was recorded around the time of Wild Life. I used to know those things, Ive kind of forgotten.

I think that "Little Woman Love" was recorded during the Ram sessions, which is why it's included here. Not sure I agree - I like it when they keep A & B Sides together when they include singles as bonus tracks.

I guess "Give Ireland Back To The Irish" (& maybe its B-Side) and "Mary Had A Little Lamb" will all be on Wild Life - when they finally get around to it in 20-whatever. I guess you put "Hi Hi Hi" on there too.

What about Junior's Farm? This wasn't even a bonus track on the previous reissues.

Also, given the amount of suppposedly unreleased solo stuff, these reissues are a bit disappointing. I would like to have seen more stuff from the proposed Cold Cuts album. Or have that album officially released.

Collector's note: as with McCartney and McCartney II, the label has issued a promo-only 3-disc set for Ram, including the album, the rarities CD, and the DVD from the super-colossal box set. Housed in a full-color trifold cardboard wallet-type package.

That sounds like a better box set than the one being offered on Amazon.

As you'd expect based on previous releases, this sounds terrific. And there's an insert saying that Wings Over America, Venus & Mars, and Wings at the Speed of Sound are coming soon!

Would love to see those three monsters released at the same time!

I wouldn't get my hopes up about seeing all of the listed upcoming titles anytime soon based on the speed of this reissue campaign to date. When McCartney I & II came out in April 2011 (six months after BOTR) it had an insert saying those same albums, along with Ram, were on deck. It took over 13 months just to get Ram.

Btw, this is the best Ram has ever sounded...

I read somewhere (Beatlefan?) that those next three titles are "penciled in" to be released for Christmas.

To me, Wings Over America would be the crown jewel in the McCartney remasters campaign.

They would have to include the entire "Rockshow" movie on DVD, one would think/hope.
