I don't know, I've never been a big fan of shoestring fries... but they taste the same as the last ones -- salty little grease sticks.

Stay out of the marketing business.

This is fairground food, which probably deserves its own thread, but I got to share a funnel cake last Saturday in Washington, Arkansas. It was done just right, and we were sitting outside on a mild spring day. Next to some bikers.

I wish now I'd gotten some of the gator-on-a-stick while we were there.

I liked gator-on-a-stick when I had it. Tastes sorta like chickeny fish or fishy chicken :yum:

The BK in Belleville is horrible.
When I lived in Muskegon the closest 24 hour fast food was Burger King, and it was great. Food was always hot and fresh, orders were always correct, there was never too long of a wait, even during the bar rush.
If the BK here in town was like that, I'd probably still go once in a while (despite my new-found aversion to red meat). Alas, it is teh suxxorz.

Oh the irony! World's biggest McDonald's to open... on the OLYMPICS site

Sports-loving spectators at the London 2012 Olympics could have a battle of will power on their hands - as McDonald's has announced it will open its biggest ever branch close to the park.

The 3,000 square-metre restaurant stretches over two floors and is equivalent to half the length of an American football field. It has 1,500 seats and will be one of four stores opening including one in the athletes' village in Stratford, east London.

The restaurant will employ 470 staff to serve around 50,000 Big Macs, 100,000 portions of fries and 30,000 milkshakes during the Games.

Wish I could try these but no Red Robin anywhere near me.

The Seattle-based "casual dining" restaurant chain Red Robin is turning up the heat in a big way by unveiling the very first nationally marketed hamburgers to be infused with a kick in the jaw from the notorious Naga Bhut Jolokia — AKA the Ghost Pepper.

400 times hotter than Tabasco sauce, the Ghost Pepper was, until very recently, the Guinness Record holder for world's hottest chili pepper. The pepper is so hot, in fact, that it has been the subject of a long-running Internet challenge wherein participants attempt to survive without liquid for as long as possible after consuming an entire chili. Few make it past several seconds.

See, that's funny because the guy in the middle, his stage name is Ice Cube, and his picture is on the ice cube dispenser, and the guy on the right, his stage name is Ice-T, and so it seemed like his image is on the iced tea dispenser.

Except that iced tea is usually in a separate urn from the soft drink fountain, except for that pre-fab Lipton tea, which is nasty.

I have both of those franchises around me, and but for my wife liking them, I doubt I would go to either.

(I like Red Robin more than SNS, but then again RR costs too much.)
