I won't mention names in case anyone who wants to see the episode has yet to see it, but I'm glad the guy who got offed got it. He had become quite annoying.
It was a grisly way to go, but on this show I would expect no less.

That's funny because my wife and I have been saying for weeks the character had to go, and before the commercial break my friend Nancy texted me and said she wanted he/she to bite the dust. I agreed with her. A few minutes later we had our wish granted!
And yeah, it was grisly for sure.

I'm getting deeper into the show Awake. It's a good idea for a show, I like how it's unfolding, and the new wrinkle at the end of the last episode adds a whole new layer to the dual reality story.

Tonight's new episode of The Simpsons will be a take-off on Inception. I'll be watching.

Yup, looks like it's about to veer strongly into a "deeper mythology" area... let the conspiracy theories begin!

Brent Spiner will guest on The Simpsons for the episode titled "Them, Robot" airing on March 18th at 8PM on Fox. Last year when Spiner did his voice work he sent out the following Tweet: "Did "The Simpson's" yesterday. Played a very unusual role…a robot. Actually, several robots. Love that Homer."

Sadly, I gave up on Community after the first month of this season. I was there from the beginning with episode 1, but I just can't buy into the writing anymore. Love the cast though. The girl that plays Annie (Alison Brie-oh boy, do I have a thing for her!)
It's close to being cancelled and the ratings have always been bad, but on NBC anything is possible, so fans may get their wish!

I agree-it was really good with good acting and clever writing and yet, the ratings were atrocious (not that NBC even promoted it).
So, I'd bet it's a goner which is a shame.

I'd have to agree it wasn't promoted. The first I heard of it, it was in the T.V. listings for the day and I said, what's that, and why are there two back-to-back episodes? so I clicked on it. And I give most things a try, especially comedies, so I watched them. Very good. It'll make your Wednesdays better.

I looked it up on IMDB - it's 2011, not 2012, for it's been in the can for a while, and the little girl is listed as Frankie (not Charlie) in the credits, so that's weird.

TWIMC:
On the surface, Alex and Pete could not be more different. The recently divorced Alex is a hard-working, high-strung lawyer who is raising her 10-year-old daughter, Charlie, as a single mom following her husband's incarceration for insider trading. Unwilling to let anything get in her way, she downsizes into a smaller house and hires charismatic Pete, a free-spirited ladies man and recovering gambling addict who desperately needs this gig with Alex to jumpstart his life -- and prove that he is no longer a screw-up. Upon hiring him, Alex quickly realizes that she has met her match in Pete, who -- along with his motley construction crew - will not only tear apart her kitchen, but transform her worldview in the process.

A couple of new Bents on tonight. Let's see if the second two episodes are as good as the first two episodes.

Get a Life - Show Star Chris Elliott Says Shout! is to Release 'The Complete Series' This Year!

No official word from the studio yet, howeverPosted by David Lambert
4/02/2012

This past Friday, the A.V. Club website posted a story about how Chris Elliot had been speaking to one of their site contributors, Will Harris, for an upcoming interview. During their talk, A.V. Club reports, Elliot revealed the following to Harris:
"Get A Life is going to be coming out as a complete series on Shout Factory. I'm not entirely sure when - I think probably in the fall? - but, yes, it will be actually coming out...finally! At the end of April, we're going to be doing the special features. Commentaries and that sort of stuff."
There's been no word from Shout! Factory about this yet, but when they're ready to speak out about the title, we'll bring you as much information as we can! Our thanks to everybody who wrote in to make sure we saw this...and there were a LOT of you, starting with longtime reader Wesley Mead. Stay tuned for updates!

:runjoy:

This is currently on the top of my wish list. Very few other shows made me literally laugh out loud as often as Get A Life.

I like this show a lot. What a pity it will be toast after this week's episodes. Oh well.

Game Of Thrones was excellent as always starting Season 2 last night, but I declare more nudity and bloodshed is needed!
(I'm sure I will get my wish).

Bent Episodes 3 and 4 were slightly less funny than 1 and 2, but it was still face-paced humor and better than a lot of other shows. It will be too bad when it goes away.

And Peter Dinkage positively commands the screen when he appears.

Good news on Get A Life. I will probably have to pick that up - love Chris Elliot.

Now, if we could get Doctor, Doctor...
