William S. Burroughs. Unusual fellow and drug addict. How he lived to the age of 83 is a miracle of nature. He credits his career path to the accidental homicide of his old lady during a drunken game of William Tell. Bang. Oops. You can see him in the Matt Dillon film "Drugstore Cowboy." (He played a junkie priest.)

In college I was briefly in a band, sort of, named Ismism.
This was, as one can obviously tell, a long, long time ago.

Regarding all the "Ismismisms...." I'm glad Godley and Creme and others made use of the term...our band sure didn't!
We sounded like the most pathetic Pentangle wannabes ever...mixed with endless efforts to be really, really out there.
I remember being told to drum only on toms with mallets!
And do cymbal rolls...like a symphony player or something.
Nothing against mallets, really, but this was like 1968 we were like seventeen or something!
I just wanted to rock...not mallet!
As you can see...there was really no end to our cleverness!
