The best episode of ST:TNG was The Best Of Both Worlds, Part 1. They could have ended the series on that cliffhanger.

The best episode of ST:DS9 was "In the Pale Moonlight." Tightly written, extremely well-acted and it set DS9 apart from the rest of the franchise with the ugliness of war and diplomacy.

Kennedy Jr., Jerry dating a virgin, "I'm out", etc. Also, "The Strike" featuring Festivus and No Bagel and "The Comeback" featuring the best Seinfeld line of all time: "The jerk store called, they're running out of you!"

The best episode of Judge Judy is the one where the defendant explained to Judy that he "GENTLY threw the rock at the plaintiff's car."

Jimbo wrote: The best episode of The Simpsons is "Last Exit to Springfield." Lisa needs braces, dental plan. I'd go with "Cape Feare". Sideshow Bob has never been better. Plus, the witness protection program and everyone trying to kill Bart. Second is "Marge vs. the Monorail".

The best episode of Doctor Who is "City of Death."
The best episode of modern Doctor Who is a harder call. I'll pick "The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances."

Adventures of Superman : "The Stolen Costume". The ending reminds me of the punchline of a joke when Batman says to Superman, "Clark, sometimes you can be a real son-of-a-bitch".

"Hi! I'm Chandler! Could I BE wearing any more clothes?" For Friends, I would go with the episode where ... well, I don't know the title ... but it's the one where they watch the video of Ross and Rachel to learn who came onto who. Joey: "Onto whom." [everyone looks at him] Joey: "Yeah, that's right."
