If anyone buys this, I'd be interested in feedback on the remastering. I likely have all the bonus material (though I'll check eventually; I bought several related cd singles to this release.). I consider this to be an enjoyable, underrated album,.

Didn't Columbia basically just put this out? Have they given up on Bowie (or lost the license)?

All of these bonus tracks are included on the 2 CD edition that was released a few years back. That one had 17 bonus tracks.

Yeah, I don't get this one at all. Not a very good album IMO anyway, and totally not needed after the remaster DanO mentioned.

As I stated above, my interest would only be if Friday does something great with the sound.

The only song I really like on this one is "Thursday's Child", and even that is, like, the saddest sounding David Bowie song ever - I can't listen to it very often and I don't think I've ever really gotten all the way through this whole CD. At any rate, for a not very popular album that's only 12 years old, there already seem to be entirely too many reissues of it.

I did like the album artwork though.. especially the back cover photograph that looks like a poorly attended meeting of a David Bowie support group. "Hi, My name is David and I'm a David Bowie" "Hi David!

Ironically this was Bowie's last attempt to produce new material specifically directed at classic rock fans!

As i mentioned above, I do like this album quite a bit, just not sure of the need for a new edition.
