What movies would you say deliver good, Pulp-style fun?
Obviously, there's the Indiana Jones series.
Peter Jackson's King Kong.
Sky Captain & the World of Tomorrow.
A little weak, but The Phantom & The Shadow do the job.
The first Star Wars movie is kinda Flash Gordon-ish. I guess that means you can add Flash Gordon.
Captain America: The First Avenger fits the bill.
What else?

LA Confidential is more film noir than pulp-like.
