Bonnie's been a sad situation for many years, and it's really too bad. Looking at old Pointer Sisters clips, Bonnie always seemed like the fun, naughty one of the bunch, and she could certainly hold her own singing funk and jazz. It would have been nice had she just recorded a couple of solo albums and stayed with the Pointer Sisters. Alas.

I received my copy of this earlier in the week from Dusty Groove. What a terrific album this is. It is most definitely underrated, so I'm thankful that the folks at BBR are giving it another chance to be heard!
