Psych was great as usual this week. Parks And Recreations was another winner and The Office (after a really bad intro) was pretty good. Whoever those musicians were at the end were pretty damn good, especially the drummer.
I enjoyed last week's Bored To Death as well as Grimm. I recorded tonight's Grimm but didn't check it out yet.

I've liked the episodes of Grimm that I've caught.

One series that I've got to catch up with is Breaking Bad. People are raving about this seasons end.

It's almost like they never left. The reality crap is perfect fodder for that show.

Boardwalk Empire wasn't as exciting as usual tonight but it was every bit as awesome as it usually is. Hung was really good too, and used some interesting songs ("Send Me An Angel" from Scorpions especially). We'll catch The Walking Dead tomorrow On Demand.

Hung was very good tonight. Dexter was very good, although I'm not sure it really advanced the story all that much.

Wicked line in tonight's Family Guy - Stewie and Brian traveled back in time to find out where Brian had buried a tennis ball. When they got back to the present, Lois called Brian in because the news was about to cover the unveiling of his statue - turns out he had tipped his past self off about 9/11. Right after the story about the statue, the news anchor said, "Coming up in sports, Arizona Cardinal Pat Tillman tackled by his own team." Fortunately, I wasn't taking a drink of anything at the time - my wife isn't too fond of spit takes in the living room!

A close second was when they went back in time again to undo their change. They came back to the present, looked it up on the computer, and said, "Yes! We made 9/11 happen! High five!"

I hardly ever miss Jeopardy.
Don't have cable anymore so the one show i've really been liking is the new Hawaai Five-0.
I download the audio podcast of Real Time With Bill Maher. iTunes has the (video) episodes
but they're only available (unless somethings changed) at the end of the season which renders
them totally useless.
Started having to download the McLaughlin Group too since my local PBS quit carrying it.

The Walking Dead wrapped up very nicely on Sunday. The next season will begin in February so it's not a long wait. At least they finally found Sophia-that was a big surprise to me-yikes!

I think it was the best episode of the year. I also didn't see the Sophia thing coming-terrific ending.

I rarely watch tv shows but I have caught a few episodes of The New Girl. Yes, because of Zooey. I'll probably pick it up season 1 on dvd whenever they release it next year.

Anybody else here watching Blue Bloods, starring Tom Selleck?

Selleck portrays the NYC Police Commissioner, while his character's father is a retired cop and several of his sons (including Donnie Wahlberg) are also on the force. Good multi-generational family drama set amid interesting police sub-plots

I missed last night's show, but the Thanksgiving episode was probably the best show that I've seen this year of any series currently on the air

we have wanted to watch it, but my wife and i both can't stand selleck's demeanor on the promo's, and his voice, geez, lighten up a little bit.

You're right about that, Renny, Selleck pretty much has a constant scowl on his face and seems always stressed out (then again, he is the head of the NYC police dept, a situation not exactly lending itself to fun times). Magnum, P.I. this ain't, that's for sure.

Still, the supporting cast is mostly good, and the family dinner scenes are sometimes lighthearted. Worth catching an episode to check it out

Not the first time Family Guy made light of 9/11. This was pretty shocking/funny....from the 2nd James Woods episode

Not to name drop, but I met James Woods a couple times. He's a really down to earth friendly guy in person. Not at all typical Hollywood.

I'd forgotten about that, Charles, but I remembered it as I watched. And I laughed again.

There's a site in the UK that sells some pretty tasteless shirts - some I love that I couldn't wear in public, although they do have some that are twisted but acceptable - my wife has one that says PRAISE BE TO ALAN. They have (or had) a shirt with a picture of the towers that said, "What was that date again?"

I still enjoy watching reruns of The Wonder Years on The Hub. Although it's occasionally disconcerting to realize that we are now as far removed from the original airing of the series (~20 years), as the series was from the time it depicted.

I would have been the same age as Kevin, and alot of his experiences still ring true. He even had a part-time job working at a hardware store owned by a grouchy old man, just like I did.

I've given up any hope that the series will ever be issued on DVD.

I watched Hawaii Five-O for the first time last night and it was really, really good. Is it that good all the time? I know it's done reasonably well in the ratings and I was impressed.

Anyone bothering with the X Factor? I gave up immediately when they showed a guy with his willy out and he wasn't pulled off the stage pronto.

It makes American Idol look like the most well produced wholesome show ever. Complete cheese by
Cowell who is insufferable.
