From musictap:

Salvo Records (UK) also will release a remastered version of Who’s Afraid of The Art of Noise (1984) by The Art of Noise, adding a second disc (DVD – PAL format) with goodies and videos. The CD itself will not only offer the original tracks but also a string of BBC Live sessions stuff. Who’s Afraid of The Art Of Noise is scheduled for September 5.

Thanks for the heads up on this, Pete.

After years of hardly any Art of Noise reissues, Salvo has really made up for lost time and then some. This is almost TOO much Art of Noise for me (and I'm a big fan)!

Kinda sad that they didn't think to include the tracks from "Daft." Maybe that will be a different release. I'd prefer a bonus CD to a DVD any day, but having the videos on DVD will be nice (see user pic).

Oh, well. I'm still excited. Wonder if ZTT will pick up the China/Chrysalis releases as well?

Side note: whenever I type "ZTT," I have to be careful not to type "ZZT," one of my favorite computer games back in the day.

By the way, the DVD in the set is PAL/Region Zero(all regions). Fortunately, my Denon DVD player (DVD-3930ci) & Oppo Bluray player(BDP-83) have PAL to NTSC conversion ability, and my iMAC computer can also play PAL discs. And, of course, I buy my DVD & Bluray players as modified code-free units.

By the way, these days, the Art of Noise's "China Records" catalogue is owned by the group's song publisher, Warner Music, and it's Warner's decision whether to license it to Salvo(Warner has already stated that they[Warner] have no intent to reissue it themselves.)
