Lately I've been reading some of my comics from the 70s. In the mid- to late 70s I noticed a number of the ads featured sports stars. Here are the ones I've found so far... OJ hawking footwear of assorted types.

This one isn't a sports celebrity, but it is a young Todd Bridges three or four years before he hit it big in Different Strokes.

Ah, this takes me back...
Actually, I used to play a bit of 'X-Wing vs Tie Fighter' - my character name was 'O.J. Dingo'.
... I believe I named it that because, as I was first tinkering with the game, the 'White Ford Bronco' drama was playing out on a TV set in the same room...
