Wow...another ELO comp...imagine that! Yawn!

I love every ELO album from the strange debut through Balance Of Power, so I'll have to disagree with you on that comment.

I have so many ELO comps it's not even funny.

I'm betting this is just a repackaging of the 2-CD Strange Magic comp.

I'm thinking it's a combo of the 2 recent comps on Epic/Legacy-All Over The World and Ticket To The Moon (I think that's what they were called).

This is my choice for a fine, and fine sounding ELO comp. It only needed "Fire On High" for it to be perfect, IMO.

Are all the songs from Xanadu re-recordings?

Supposedly they are the original soundtrack recordings.

Well, that makes this very significant if that's true. This has to be the best ELO comp I've seen, but no "Fire On High"!!!
Still, if the original Xanadu recordings are on, I'm getting this.

The content of those 2 CD's make for a perfect split of the two halves of ELO's output. They should've closed the first CD with a sound clip of string instruments being put back into their cases.

The first CD progressively favors the later albums in the first run, which is why I'm guessing Fire on High didn't make the cut. Wild West Hero is a lesser song... they probably wanted a large representation of the Out of the Blue double album.

"Wild West Hero" was a Top 10 single in the UK, so its inclusion makes sense. So was "Diary of Horace Wimp."

Nobody cares about the UK.

Fire on High opened up the CBS Sports Special show for God's sake.

Let's keep some perspective here.

Those tracks were both big hits in the UK and "Fire on High" wasn't even a single. Of course it should be on there. Why the hate?

Yeah! How many of you lot's 1977 Christmas presents included Out Of The Blue with the free cardboard spaceship?

And if you're whingeing about missing album tracks, where's Tightrope?

Agree with IP, might be best comp yet. Wally World will probably sell this super cheap when it comes out so I'll keep my eye out for it.
