"This artist can REALLY draw horror comics." What artist completes that sentence for you?

All of the above, plus...
Kelley Jones Sam Kieth Francesco Francavilla Alex Maleev (his adaptation of Stephen King's "N." is probably the scariest comic I've ever read). Gene Colan Eric Powell

Jim Aparo and Joe Kubert were as great with horror as they were with traditional superheroics.

Can't disagree with a single name listed so far, but most definitely this: Night Owl wrote: Stephen Bissette. I'd add Neil Vokes to the list.

Russ Heath isn't thought of primarily as a horror artist, but he could excel at the genre: By the way, in case anyone hasn't read "Process of Elimination", the Bruce Jones story from which the above page is taken, it's available here: http://ohdannyboy.blogspot.com/2010/07/ ... heath.html

Back in the 70's Richard Corben was an adolescent boy's best friend, but in addition to his penchant for golden bozos he was capable of incredible drama: The above page is from In Deep (also written by Bruce Jones) the finest story ever published by Warren Magazines. It's available here: http://spaceintext.wordpress.com/2011/0 ... rd-corben/, (unfortunately) minus the first page.
