Hawkgirl (Walt Simonson/ Renato Arlem) + JSA Classified starring Hawkman (Walt Simonson Story and Art) for me. And the Huntress trade that i commanded. But I won't go to the shop this week.
I added Catwoman, The Brave and the Bold + Guggenheim's Flash to my pull list too. by phone.

52 WEEK #39 - Yay dismemberment! Getting tired of seeing it.
BATMAN AND THE MAD MONK #6 (OF 6) - Great, great book. It leads right into the "Man Who Laughs" trade (retelling the Jokers origin), and sets up Robin. satisfies the curiosity as to what happened to Julie Madison as well. Highly recommended.
BATMAN LEGENDS OF THE DARK KNIGHT #214 - Last issue, and a good read.
TEEN TITANS #43 - Bored now. I may or may not finish the arc up, but either way I'm probably done with Titans soon.

These should be waiting for me this week(according to Diamond):
Batman & The Mad Monk #6 - The conclusion, by Matt Wagner(of course)!
Hawkgirl #60 - Continuing the X-over from JSA 21. I wish Simonson was pencilling the entire X-over.
Hunter/Killer #11 - Now that it's shipping on time, I'm enjoying it more.
JSA Classified #22 - Simonson Goodness, continued from HG #60.
Magnitude #2 - The first issue was good enough to warrant picking up #2.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic #13 - One of my guilty pleasure reads.
Ultimate Civil War Spider-Ham Crisis - This looks like it could be fun, and I still have my Spider-Ham issues from those many years ago.
Walking Dead #34 - Zombie Goodness by Robert Kirkman.

Rob: Yes it was, although not as good as the Mad Monk (imo). Still good classic Batman, and pretty much sets up a lot of the subplots for the Monk series.

Jeff, you might want to finish the TEEN TITANS current arc, and then decide, as Geoff Johns and Tony Daniels are departing then.

Didn't know that Ron. Sounds like a good plan, thanks. DC comics site is useless for info, do you happen to know who's coming onto the book?
I've always been a big fan of Johns, but lately his work hasn't been doing much for me, other than JSA. Too much reliance on dismemberment.

Ron, that's news to me too. Who's pegged to write the book? I won't miss Daniels on art...

Daredevil 93: Brubaker wraps up the whole secret ID/FBI years long plot in a satisfying and beleivable way..no mean feat. A great cap to his first year (about) on DD...compelling stuff...9/10
Teen Titans 43: a fun action packed romp as we get an evil team of titans fighting our crew of heroes..too bad johns is leaving this title..i wish he was around to explore some of these new characters more..but at least he's going out with a bang...fun stuff...8/10
Batman Legends of the Dark Knight 214: Christos Gage gives us an excellent Batman Vs Deadshot story that has the two protagonists go at it physically and psychologically..and Phil Winslade gives us his best art ever..reminiscent of Perez and Jimenez..brilliant stuff..some pages have a 12 panel grid..gorgeous stuff and one of the best Batman stories in recent memory...9/10
I also got the Frank Miller/Robocop trade from Avatar but thats for weekend reading.

Walking Dead - boy howdy, what a cliffhanger.
Jack of Fables - wtf, did I miss an issue? No? Well, then I'm lost.

I'm with Rob. I'll finish up this Titans East arc, then I'm done. With Legends of the Dark Knight and Y the Last Man ending this year, I'll be down to Detective, Batman, JSA, and the 3 Superman titles before long...and that's assuming I don't tire of any of those!

Small week for me: Annihilation 6- a satisfying conclusion to a really great series. JSA Classified 22- the wrap-up to Simonson's fun two-parter featuring Hawkman. I'm glad Workman is still doing lettering for Walt. And, I picked up my Leader mini-bust!

It was a nada week, so I picked up the latest issue of Daredevil, since I like what Brubaker is doing elsewhere. Not bad. I may try another issue.

I dropped JLA at the end of the last series, not interested in a Meltzer written book of any sort. Sorry you're not liking Detective though, it's been great for me as a Dini fan, although I would like to see a consistent artist. Superman has been moving down for me, I hadn't bought any of those books in years, then got on board with OYL. Enjoyed the Busiek story to start things off, but I can't say I care much for this Donner/Johns thing. Luckily Busiek is still going strong on the other title, and Superman Confidential has drawn me in.
Sad thing is, I can see myself dropping all current books and just picking up back issues and trades here and there.

Criminal has yet to be read. Daredevil was a superb closing to Bru's run to date -- absolutely loved it. Teen Titans was okay.
I also picked up Batman LotDK on John V's recommendation and gotta say it was fantastic (thanks John!). Christos Gage is a writer to watch and I've always like Phil Winslade's work, but it was especially good here. Best Batman I have read in years.

Jeff, I've been buying JLA because it is JLA. I'll likely be out soon. Issue #0 was quite good, but since then... I'll give it a big shrug.
Dini's Detective has been good, but not stellar. It's not meeting my expectations. Honestly, I think I'm subconsciously looking to close the door on the DCU.
