With Nolan leaving Batman after Dark Knight Rises and Green Lantern not being the smash hit WB was hoping for, the DCU is still wide open in terms of a cohensive universe a la Marvel's Avengers franchise. So, if you could steal any Marvel director (Marvel Studios or not) and place him on DC heroes, all leading up to a JLA movie, which directors are you taking?
My picks --
Superman - John Favreau Batman - Guillermo del Toro Flash - Sam Raimi Green Lantern - Kenneth Branagh Wonder Woman - Joss Whedon JLA - Bryan Singer

I'd like to see del Toro on a Batman film, but he's not a Marvel director (unless you're counting the new Hulk TV series). If so, give del Toro Batman, and put Singer on a Suicide Squad movie.

Joel Schumacher on Justice League International, but no nippled costumes.

Superheroes are one genre that Spielberg hasn't tried yet - I'd love to see his take on Green Lantern.

I'd like to see the George Lucas of 1972 do a Superboy in Smallville movie a la American Graffiti.
