Street Hassle (the lone hold out) finally remastered? Bonus tracks maybe?

Strange that the live album is from RCA when Take No Prisoners would make more sense being that the others are all Arista. And I think Growing Up In Public is greatly under appreciated.

The original CDs sound better to me than the remasters which were futzed with too much: compression and all that.

I'd just like Rock n Roll Animal and Lou Reed Live to be redone as one full concert. They're from the same show, but had different mastering and apparently even had the guitarists coming out of the opposite speakers on each disc. So a home-made version isn't gonna work.

I agree as far as 1 release (a box set is in order, have you heard any of the other shows from the R&RA tour on WGV?), & I also find it odd that they'd issue this with R&RA & not include Live!

I've seen, cough a torrent cough where somebody has made the two releases flow in the order of the concert, but I agree, this is (these are?) a landmark release that deserves the souped up treatment. Dammit, some people think it's even as good as Metal Machine Music.

I seem to remember (from following MusicTAP) that Street Hassle was about to be remastered and reissued around the same time as Coney Island Baby, but then it became a digital-only release. Maybe they'll use that master?

I think the rarity in this box is "Growing Up In Public". There isn't a domestic version currently available and I think the only import out there is from Japan. Given the price of Japanese import discs, it's probably is cheaper to just go ahead and get the box.
