Robin still looks great.
Hawkman's mask is HUGE.
Surprised to see the Huntress (what year was this made?)
The Flash looked pretty good - better than the puffy one from his series, in my opinion.
Thanks.

does anyone have a source for this entire thing? I remember watching this as a child, and would love to see the whole thing again.

I have both the Roast and the special on VHS... You can usually track both down on eBay

There were actually two of them. And both are nearly as insane as the Star Wars Holiday special.
The 70's were a "special" time.

"Ghetto Man" has to be seen to be believed. I think the PC poice would implode on itself if that aired that today

I'm starting to think the entire consenting population spent the 1970s totally stoned. This is confirmed by watching any given episode of the Match Game. I think everyone had to go to extreme lengths to avoid 'Nam flashbacks, and the result was these holiday specials and Three's Company.

I watched both shows when they originally aired. I though it was dreadful, but awesome. My friends and I were bummed when the second special turned out to be a roast, we wanted a series. You can usually find dvd's at conventions for 15-20 dollars. I do not recommend picking one up on ebay, you need to see the quality before purchasing.

I'm not interested unless it has my favorite Earth-2 chick: HUNTRESS.

Oh, the (super-)humanity! That is just painfully bad. I have vague memories of this stuff, and I now wish that that was ALL I had.
On the plus side, the guy playing Hawkman had some serious tickets to the gun show. As Hawkman should.
Did this thing come out before or after the live-action SHAZAM! Saturday morning show premiered?

Howard Morris (Earnest T. Bass) as Sivanna!
BRILLIANT casting!
A friend of mine sent me a copy of this a couple of years ago. I hadn't seen it since it was originally broadcast. I had recorded it off the tv with my tape recorder. but the tape eventually wore out years ago.
Sure it was dumb, and cheesy, but I loved it!
I'll dig it out today and watch it again.
(funny thing it really does feel like you are watching a real DC silver age Comic come to life!)
