This is a cover sketch sent to me by Joe back around August, and is the very first piece of Johnny Impossible artwork I ever saw that I didn't draw myself. I was thrilled with it!

I would seriously love to do an EC/Creepy/House of Mystery-style horror anthology!

Hell, if I wasn't living paycheck to paycheck, I'd love to have four ongoing titles - Johnny Impossible, a horror anthology, a space opera daily adventure strip, and a sword n' sorcery series. I've got cool ideas for all of 'em! (I'm kinda working on the sci-fi strip myself, but I suuuuuuuck as an artist! )

I wish you could do a sci-fi story with Robert Last. I bugged him about it twice but I think you have to be right there in the store with him going, "saaaayyyy...."

I will help with the horror anthology gladly. I'll bet we could make an entertaining issue. Someone else here is bound to have a creepy tale up their sleeves, too. I think we'd have some choices on art and the length of the stories wouldn't have to be prohibitive.
Maybe some stories could reference, say, Ji's world, in subtle ways? Like a similar restaurant or tv commercial. I don't know about that. But I'm knocking out something you will find surprising enough...in ten weeks I hope to have somethings...finished.

I'm quite proud of that second story. I keep going back to it in my head and tweaking it.

I'm going to read that while I'm off tomorrow, I think. Meanwhile, just know I thought of three I have to tell between waking up and going across the street to work!
