I Remember enjoying her in the 1952 Ivanhoe movie where she is quite young, but turns in,
I thought, a good piece of acting. Other reviewers have been less kind, and I've read that she
herself wasn't too fond of that movie. Still, I have an urge to see it again now, so I will but it
today from Amazon.

She used to be pretty hot. Her attempts to stay beautiful and refusal to age gracefully looked pretty disasterous, unfortunately.

The last few decades of her life, Taylor was the butts of many jokes about her faded beauty, but she was one of the first public celebrities to stand up for the fight against AIDS and she raised a lot of money. May she rest in peace.
