I just got a hold of a copy of the 2 disc. I'm sad to say that my first reaction of the live disc is
BRIGHT! LOUD! TEETH SHATTERING! PAINFULLY COMPRESSED! BAM! POW! Take that Batman!May we please have a new law that mastering engineers who produce cd's that literally make one's teeth hurt must spend 24 hours straight in a prison cell listening to how they destroyed a new cd with the volume at least 100db?
In all seriousness as much trouble as I'm having getting past the compression on the songs I already like on the live cd, doesn't give me much hope for actually enjoying the studio cd with new songs
There's also way too much hall ambiance on the live cd, it almost sounds like an audie, which doesn't fit this band at all.
