Ronin (mystery character-formerly echo was in the suit)

Wolverine
Spider-woman
Iron Fist
Luke Cage
Plus one more to be revealed tomorrow which i forgot about or i would have posted this tomorrow.
Very odd lineup. Basically Bendis's favorites/street level guys. Who is Ronin? Cap? did he have to give it up? Well, he doesn't have ninja skills. Daredevil like originally rumorered before it was Echo? Hawkeye?!?!!?!?
Mighty Avengers (a secon team) lineup(according to Wizard promotional art)-basically the pro regs guys
Iron Man
Ms. Marvel
Ares
Wasp
black Widow
Wonder Man
Sentry

I'm guessing the team is pretty street level, with the Mighty Avengers handling the bigger threats. Could be interesting.
The line-up guess was after Doc Strange, Echo, and Wolverine were announced, so I only get credit for Spider-Woman, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist so far, and Cap if it turns out that he's Ronin. Tomorrow will be Spider-Man.

Anyone know why Bendis keeps putting together teams for The Defenders?
And obviously, Steve Rogers is going to be Ronin. *sigh*

Depends how you look at it. If you like the team and lineup, then the Avengers haven't been this high profile in all the years I've been reading. They outsell the X-men and are the focus of the big crossover.
On the other hand, I don't get Bendis writing both books. I don't think he is well suited to big slam bam action which is what the Avengers should be IMO.
But ok, many obviously like it. But then he is on the second book too?

considering Doc Strange is a neutral meditator in Civil War, something weird must happen to make him join the street team.
At this point, virtually veryone has been an avenger. Except Daredevil (unless he is Ronin).

Ohhhhhhhh HELL yes!! Man oh man do I miss the Avengers. Oh well. I have back issues to tide me over until someone puts a stop to Bendis.
I'm sure the guy can write. But can he write exciting comics? That remains a mystery for me.

Y'know he can write decent dialogue, but he fails to realize when wordiness is appropriate and when it is not. He has written some decent, quiet, standalone issues (that Luke Cage issue in NA at the beginning of Civil War was very well done), but he can't seem to write the Avengers. At all. If you go back and read the two dozen issues of New Avengers it is mostly a mess.
