Dom Brown's an excellent guitarist, and he co-wrote several songs on the new album. Warren Cuccorullo played on Notorious and Big Thing before he became an official member on Liberty. Dom's now played on Red Carpet Massacre and AYNIN. Maybe they'll give him the nod on the next one.

Great music posts; I'll dig into them all this afternoon! Cee-Lo is playing around the corner from me at Fluxx, $30, two shows next week (the Thur. show was just $20 but sold out quickly). Worth it?
I only had a radio (and cds) throughout the 90's so it's fun catching up on the Gigolo Ants and more.
The Level Spirits are a garage rock band from Australia. This song and their "Midnight Bus" {couldn't find a video for it) are vying for my favorite song this week, so far.
This has been lodged in my head for at least the last month:

Listened to Simon & Garfunkle's Bookends yesterday morning. I'd almost forgotten about this song but it's been bouncing around in my brain ever since...
I see we're getting the ole' "embedding disabled" message so for those who don't want to click on the YouTube link, the track I was referring to was "Punky's Delimma"

Have you read Phonogram, Linda? It's basically a love letter to Britpop fans.
Hadn't heard of it before. I see it's published by Image, so I'm inclined to pass. Eric Stephenson's work is so pretentious and phony, I can't imagine that the books he approves about similar subjects would be much different.
