Bloody good fun-I enjoyed every minute. Fun, entertaining, cool villians, humor, and a very hot chick. Will they keep it up? I hope so.

Anyway, I have this DVRed but we had a second Christmas this weekend at the in-laws so got home just in time for bed.

The Cape was good and fun.

It's going to be a regular Monday thing at 9pm starting Jan. 17th. If they can keep up the quality, I'll overlook the loving cliches for the tense set-up. As much fun as the Flash all those years past.

I did like the direction, especially the transition between Faraday and his wife in part 2, involving the coffee can/ I.d. The details like the spider silk and the compositions of the poison are always fun. But I'll leave off spoilers.

You know a lot of us have created superheroes and really sweated over naming the hero. Making sure that no one else has the name. Making sure it isn't too lame. Making sure the name is unique, and this hero's name is THE CAPE??

I like the name "The Cape" personally... but many have commented on how it's lame, so I dunno.

I like the name too... though I haven't seen the show, the commercials seem to indicate it is an appropriate name. I also like that it can be slang for a superhero (I believe its been used that way somewhere before) and, let's face it, all the cool, straight-forward names are gone.

I'm fine with the name too. Although perhaps THE GRAPE would've been cooler.

There's already a french superhero name THE CREPE.

I would prefer the Kramer.
Maybe his name is Cosmo Cape.

The name fits but I meant that I couldn't get away with naming any of my characters "The Cape".

tried watching sunday and got distracted, gave it another chance last night and was not impressed.

this one will not go on DVR.

I DVR'd last nights 2 episodes and will give it a try tomorrow during the snow storm.

I wanted to like it.

It was terrible, IMO. Just poor writing. Bad dialog and poor plot development. I wasn't expecting emmy award material but I found the second episode unwatchable half way through and gave up.

I hate to say that I enjoyed it...that is pretty much the kiss of death for any genre show...

I enjoyed last night's episode as well, and it had much more action than last week's, but I get the feeling the show won't last very long. Much like Dan H. said, when I truly enjoy something on TV it usually gets cancelled quickly.

Same here. The last time it was Journeyman, which I'm still pissed about.
