Both are great. Absolutely great. But I find Superman, in most of his incarnations, to be more interesting to me than Batman... but not by much. Superman, on the surface, reminds me of a Millennial saint from Christianity's end times predictions.

I don't believe in having to black and white a situation. I'm either, neither, or both, depending on situation.

Superman, but I have only felt that way since Morrison's JLA where Grant made Batman so omnipotent that he could pants God and kick Satan square in the jimmies. I've had little use for Batman ever since.

I love Superman, but Batman is my all-time favorite fictional character.

I always liked Superman better.
But would take any "big" Marvel character over either.

I was a Superman guy as a kid, a Batman guy as a teen, didn't care much about either in my 20s, and now I'm a Superman guy again. My dropoff point with both guys is around 1988 though.
But my favorite super-heroes are Ben Grimm and Namor the Sub-Mariner.

Growing up, it was Richie Rich, Scrooge McDuck, Batman, Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, Batman, Spider-Man, Scrooge McDuck. The last 4 are since I turned 20.

I loved their live action shows to pieces! But I have to give it to Superman, even though today I'm fondly remembering death traps (which Batman gave us in kid-sized abundance). Adventures of Superman in syndication was dinnertime entertainment for all the family! By the Legends of the Dark Knight days it's Bats going away!
Not until ALL-star did I find the very Superman comics for me, but the Showcase Presents from the 60's I sent a friend are the best of their kind!
I think Jack Kirby's post-Silver Age Superman of his own is really Machine Man. There's a thread.
MACHINE MAN #3 may well have been my favorite comic book all summer!!! Two Wows, two cools, a "whoa!", a "killer!", and an “ah!”, all audible nearby.

Going from Wolverine to Superman is one hell of a jarring transition back to the light. Eh, it's all that kid's stuff really -- as a child, I loved Superman until I was told by my friends he wasn't cool anymore. I got into Marvel comics and went with Spider-Man for a bit and then really liked Wolverine (because he was "deep" ) until I was 17-ish. Then I thought to hell with what other people like and went back with Superman.
