So, the house I rent has an outdoor central AC unit mounted on blocks near the outside wall. My dog has dug herself a burrow underneath it where she can cool off on these hot days we've been having. So in an odd way the AC is helping to keep her cool even though she's outside!

Get her to mow the lawn next.

This secretly has a double meaning, doesn't it?

Just kidding, very clever dog you got there.

Just be careful she hasn't dug out too much underneath- don't want the blocks slipping, especially in a heavy rain.

Seems steady so far. I may have to fill in some of that burrow once the weather cools and before the heavy rains start.

Wouldn't I love to have her do that! But I think that's a little beyond her. Lack of an opposable thumb and all that.

She does like being with me when I mow. I have to pet her every time I stop for a rest.
