Rod Stewart Tonight's The Night (Live 1976-1998)

Nov 15th 2010, no further details.
Only source is Townsend records website, but this was one of the releases flagged as part of the Rhino reissue campaign of Rod's Warner era

Any additional info welcome!

No word yet on the Collector's editions of Blondes, Footloose and Out of Order...

There's nothing wrong with good information. There are a lot of fans of Rod Stewart here, at least pre-"Sweating To The Oldies" Rod Stewart.

Rods best stuff was from 1968-1977

I'd love to hear some 'Live' stuff from Jeff Beck Group 1968-1969 era

If only.

And you never know, if I can find one nugget of info, maybe someone else will find another...

This has been dropped from Townsend site and has not appeared elsewhere... I reckon it may be gone the way of the dodo along with the rest of the Rhino reissue campaign.
I guess Rod can go platinum with commercial rubbish but can't shift enough catalogue to keep rhino interested.

May 28th, 4cd live set...not the same name as the one Rhino were planning to release in 2010, but it spans the Warner era so it could be the same thing...Are rhino finally copping on and piggybacking on Rod's other activities rather than waiting for his help??

Hopefully, most of these songs will be from the mid to late '70s, with the band that included Billy Peek and Carmine Appice.

I'm pretty sure that his career started going to shit sometime around the time when he started doing cocaine anally.

The working title for this was Anally Live, but the record company nixed it for some strange reason...

C'mon, most of the Faces albums were good, as was Every Picture. :)

(I know I've posted this before, but it's always fun)

Little Steven always says about Rod Stewart that he had (even more than the Beatles) the greatest output of great music within the shortest period of time.......8 albums over 2 1/2 years: the two Jeff Beck Group albums. the first three Faces albums, and his first three solo albums...........

............and then he went on to absolutely suck.
