What do a handful of Nashville’s premiere session players, the singer from Cheap Trick, the drummer from Neil Young & The Bluenotes, the Warren Brothers, Producer Chris Lindsey, Tim McGraw’s recording team, Nashville’s newest star, Sarah Buxton, Executive Producer Bill Edwards and Big 3 records have in common?

COUNTRYSIDE BLVD.
That’s the title of the record.

COUNTRYSIDE
That’s the name of the band.

This unique group of musicians, songwriters, and singers gathered in Nashville last year and recorded 12 songs. In that place and time they have captured a fresh country sound with a combination of musical styles.

The songs were written and sung by Robin Zander along with a few classics. The album features Sarah Buxton, Tom Bukovac, Pat Buchanan, Chad Cromwell, J.T. Corenflos, Dan Dugmore, Tim Lauer, Glen Worf, Larry Franklin, Perry Coleman, Robin T. Zander and the Countryside Singers.

“I’m hopeful that when people discover this album that it’s as fun to listen to as it was to record” states Sara Buxton.

“I’ve always wanted to do a record in Nashville and this is it.” says Robin Zander, “To have these musicians of this caliber record my songs for COUNTRYSIDE BLVD was one experience I won’t soon forget. Thanks to all for doing one hell of a record.”

Available in May 2010 on Big3 Records & Tapes.

Bump: added cover image to the first post. The album has been pushed all the way back to November 23rd.

Looks like it's now been removed or pushed back indefinitely.
Got an e-mail from Amazon, and the page is now showing a release date of 11/18/2025

Cheap Trick's message board is now saying October 26th.
Amazon still has it as indefinite/sign up to be notified.

Hopefully Cheap Trick is correct..

Either way, it's finally eventually coming.

(I ordered this on April 6th....wonder if 9+ months is close to a record of keeping an order open)

Pushed back yet again to 3/22/11.

It's now been delayed until 11/22/11.

I hope this is a great album for this long of a wait.

I just saw this released on i-tunes for anyone interested. the cd is still listed for Nov. 2011.

I swear that this was available this morning at 6am and now it's gone completely from itunes or pehaps I was confused by the bright lights. Oh, well my pre-order still stands at amazon.

It was there.....some people mentioned downloading it on the Cheap Trick message board.

I still was/am going to wait for the CD.

Amazon just outright cancelled my order.

Listed as "Currently unavailable" with no more pre-order links. I'm guessing this is dead.

Maybe it's a good thing. I don't want to see one of the best rock singers of all-time go down the Bon Jovi trial in making country records.
