I would nudge the Stones string back one spot to include "Between The Buttons", and take "Goat's Head Soup" off of the list. As for the Who, I would take it back to "The Who Sell Out" and stop at "Odds & Sods".

I may be in the minority on these two - The Clash - The Clash (either edition), Give 'Em Enough Rope, London Calling, Sandanista! Velvet Underground - Velvet Underground & Nico, White Light/White Heat, Velvet Underground, Loaded
but I think this string is undeniable
Talking Heads - Talking Heads '77, More Songs About Buildings and Food, Fear of Music, Remain in Light, The Name of This Band is Talking Heads

Creedence Clearwater Revival . . .
From their second album (Bayou Country) through their sixth album (Pendulum).
All of my other choices (at least those I remember) have already been listed.

The Joni Mitchell box set thread last year turned into a similar thread regarding singer songwriter strings of 3. viewtopic.php?f=17&t=53316 (go down 13 posts to where the thread veers in this direction). My list for that thread was Joni Mitchell Blue, For The Roses & Court & Spark. Tori Amos (Little Earthquakes, Under The Pink, Boys For Pele) Bruce Cockburn (In The Falling Dark, Circles in The Stream, Further Adventures) Dan Fogelberg (Home Free, Souvenirs, Captured Angel, Netherlands) Neil Young (Everybody Knows, After The Goldrush, Harvest)

David Baker wrote: Rod Stewart — Every Picture Tells a Story through A Night On the Town My range is a bit earlier. I think The Rod Stewart Album and Gasoline Alley are among his best....and lost interest after Never A Dull Moment. Rod could have a special category as greatest consecutive multitasking lp string. 9 albums from 1968-1972...... The Jeff Beck Group - Truth, Beck-Ola The Faces - First Step (I'm not calling it Small Faces), Long Player, A Nod Is as Good as a Wink His 1st four albums - The Rod Steart Album, Gasoline Alley, Every Picture, Dull Moment That's a great an output in a short period of time.....espceially considering what he turned into soon after. Federico wrote: I may be in the minority on these two - The Clash - The Clash (either edition), Give 'Em Enough Rope, London Calling, Sandanista! Velvet Underground - Velvet Underground & Nico, White Light/White Heat, Velvet Underground, Loaded 100% agree on both. Most may think The Clash would go through London Calling, but I love Sandanista!
