I taped that recently, great film and title tune, I especially like the photo montage sequence in the museum.

And it was directed by James Clavell, the author of "Shogun" and "Tai-Pan" and "Noble House".

This would have my vote as the best title song ever from a film.

It is certainly one of them, can't think of any better offhand.

A Hard Days Night, Help, Magical Mystery Tour, Yellow Submarine, and Let It Be...for 5. To Sir With Love is a great song (and movie) too.

No Googa, it's a still from an infamous scene in This Is Spinal Tap, the classic "rockumentary" spoof.

Too canonized, and Touch of Evil is greater. I should have included at least one Orson Welles movie, but the maximum was 15, so which should it replace? Which of the above titles should go?

Casablanca is more like an icon and a cult film, it would belong more in the other cult films thread.

Oh, I see, Calijawn, I don't remember if I have seen that. Was that by the Coen brothers? It was extremely successful.

What was the criteria you used to come up with that list?

What, no "Red Dawn"? (Seriously, I really like that movie - if it comes on, I'm usually hooked.)

Let's see...

Pulp Fiction
Spinal Tap
Chasing Amy
Dogma
Clerks II (yeah, I'm a fan)
Airplane!
Wuthering Heights
Bride Of Frankenstein
Life Of Brian
Monty Python And The Holy Grail
Young Frankenstein
Blazing Saddles

I'd better stop...

Alan
