I came across this last night. It's a good list.....aside that the Small Faces should've been ranked 4th.

I think I'm familiar with 60+% of the names listed.

i would think that 150 is a big number, should pretty much cover any person or band of any consequence.

Fab list, though it's dated 1963-66. The Small Faces would have been way higher with a time frame of say 1964-68, which I think is a better British Invasion time period...

150 seems like a wimpy number to go with. It's sort of like when Ultimate Guitar choose the "500 Greatest Guitarist of all time" and didn't even bother to list them in any order as to who is number 1, 2, 3, etc. To further wussifie it, they would, some times, list duos or an entire band is one entrie. Further watering down the list. They should have stuck with 100, at the most.

I'm envious, Googa, that you have seen the Hollies. I have only seen eight of these acts:
2. The Rolling Stones
3. The Kinks
4. The Who
18. The Zombies
23. Tom Jones
24. The Moody Blues
27. Cliff Richard
58. Lulu
Hope to add a ninth (Petula Clark ) in Las Vegas on May 1.

And I'm envious of you too, David, because you have seen Lulu and will soon get to see Pet Clark!

I attempted to see if there was anyone left off of this list who had notable hits. The only one I could come up with was Billie Davis, who's version of "Tell Him" fits right in with any of the other known woman artists at the time.

Would've also said The Herd before noticing the 1966 cutoff.
