other than "power" i cannot recall any john hall solo albums that were very good. and i know i had them all on vinyl.

P.S. John Hall (Dem.) was elected to Congress in 2006 to represent NY's 19th district (north of NYC, in the Hudson Valley). He was reelected in 2008.

His hit single "Crazy (Keep On Falling)" is one of the very best hits from the 80s. That song kicks ass and it was all over radio and MTV. "Love Me Again" was another good one and a minor hit.
I liked the John Hall Band quite a bit. His solo albums not so much.

his work in orleans was his best.

other than "power", which was quite timely and relevant when released.

The version(s) of Power from the No Nukes concerts are still chilling.
Will we EVER see the DVD of those shows?

i highly highly doubt it. too many egos back then, can't imagine what those contracts looked like.

but you never know, the nicolette larson tribute CD came out after years of bullshit.
