Glad to see this terrific album being restored to the catalog! I'm sure we can count on Friday for solid remastering and liner notes, but it sure would be nice if they could at least include the bonus track (I think it was an alternate take of "To Love") from the recent Japanese reissue!

If you're not nice
Bump: This might be the longest delay we've ever seen on the ICE boards. Originally solicited in January 2010, now scheduled to finally come out in January 2016, and listed at the same Amazon URL the entire time.

It is a repress, then. But according to Amazon (and even Friday Music themselves), the CD you own never actually came out.
Yes. You got lucky, Greg. That printing must have been a very, very, very small run. I had this pre-ordered from Amazon back in 2010 and got several e-mails from them prior to the release date that they were "unable to estimate when it would be available" then eventually one stating that the item was "unavailable."

OK, this was making me think I was crazy, so I grabbed it off the shelf, and I am holding in my hand a copy of Carole King's Writer, remastered CD on the Friday Music label. I think I might even have a second copy of this. Something weird going on here.

I received this with an Amazon order placed in January 2010. Very curious. I do have two copies, one unopened. Not sure where the second copy came from -- probably ordered it twice, by mistake.
