Product Description
The Marshall Tucker Band has dug into the vaults for a number of well-received live CDs and DVDs in recent years, but this rare concert from their 1973 tour with the Allman Brothers might be the most sought-after of all. Taped at legendary venue Winterland, and featuring a killer mix of songs from the band's first two albums (the second of which was yet to be recorded), this release captures MTB at a career peak, stretching out on stage and letting the music flow. Fans will find it an essential addition to their collection.

1. Hillbilly Band
2. Another Cruel Love
3. Take The Highway
4. Can't You See
5. See You Later, I'm Gone
6. Ramblin'
7. Everyday (I Have The Blues)
8. 24 Hours At A Time

The Live On Long Island 4/16/80 that Shout did a couple years back was excellent.

As was the Carolina Dreams tour (1977). I am not sure if Shout did that one?

Oh, and the forthcoming San Francisco CD has the cover artwork and tracklisting now. See first post. :)

i know the price will drop big time on this over time (Shout always does) but I'll plan to get it eventually.

Haven't heard this disc but I'd bet it is from 9-26-73. If that date sounds familiar, it was the famous Allman Bros. show at
Winterland that has been making the rounds for years and was the basis for much of the live "Wipe The Windows" LP.
MTB was pretty hot, themselves, that night. KSAN broadcast the whole thing and I've had the tapes for all these years.
Interesting that Amazon would call this a career peak when it was their first tour!! But really, I've never heard them
better. This tape has remained my favorite slice of MTB after all these years. I may be partial to it for other reasons,
as well. I was backstage as a guest of MTB. I still remember one of the band, who shall remain anonymous,
in a classic Carolina drawl, saying, "Les, you're a lahf saver with this pot!!"
