Need some help/advice.

I am looking at a blu-ray player that can connect to Netflix. To do so, I need to plug into my network via LAN cable. But, my home is wireless and running a LAN cable is not an option.

So what are my options? What do I need in order to plug in my blu-ray player?

Thanks!

Without hard wiring it, I don't believe it will be a satisfactory experience for you. Wireless isn't good for streaming high bandwidth movies. I found this out the hard way with my PS3; ended up drilling a hole and running cable.

I use Netflix with my Xbox 360 using their wireless adapter and it has been great a great experience. I just want the same experience on another floor of the house. Most of what plays through are for the kids, so quality comes in below selection and convenience.

First, in quick Googling®, I saw that some BluRay machines come with a wireless adapter. You might want to see if your machine already has one or can get one as an add on / plug in.

Next, if you can't, it sounds like you need a Wireless Access Point. I have no idea on how well they work.

This one doesn't have a wireless adapter. To get that I have to move from the $130 one to the $240. Becauseo f that, I am looking for a solution cheaper than that difference which leaves out the wall-plug adapters.
