So here was a little assignment I picked up recently. I was given this concept sketch for a video game and was asked to refine it.

After fixing some compositional and anatomical errors as well as inking and coloring the piece this is what I came up with.

My wife is a Twi-Hard and I wanted to make her something nice for Christmas. This was the result.

Love the way you've drawn the hair on those two.

What can I say? I received some excellent crits at gutterzombie and I think the piece looks much better. Always nice having a few more sets of eyeballs. I've been staring at this piece so long even the wrong parts start looking right.

Another fine piece by Sandy Plunkett. This time around I used a rough line and tonal inks. Colors on the way.

The tones on his forehead and his right cheek are a bit heavy. I might have kicked them down a bit or softened the edges just a bit. But that is minor.

I like the linework and the solid shading. Love what you did with the clouds.

Overall? Very nice work.

I really like the silvery blue color reflecting off the red. I think it works well.

I will buy this to support my IMWAN family.
I'll bet I like the comic, as well.

Hmmm. I was THIS close to buying it this week. I didn't have much time and I was flipping
through the issue. It was this very page that made me consider buying it. This easily looked
to be the best feature in the book.

Now that I know you IMWANKing guys were doing it, I'll pick it up.

Sorry to say that I was just going to wait a few months and pick it up from the bargain bin
(like I bought the last issue project book).

There's no shame in that game. Tough times, but I definitely appreciate you picking it up. The Daredevil and Claw stories really caught my eye. I'm a huge Mr. Monster fan so I'll buy almost anything by Michael T. Gilbert.
