I'll take two.

I'm assuming it folds in the middle like a notebook?

I dig this. The Apple Tablet's going to beat it to market, though.

And it'll go Wii, Wii, Wii all the way home...

No, I mean I know the reference, I just don't know why you did the Wii part. Oh well.

Because iBook, iBook, iBook didn't work as well.

I think they'll think of a clever name other than Apple Tablet or iBook or iPad, which sounds like a sanitary napkin.

I still think it'll be the iBook, which name they yanked off their laptops as soon as it occurred to them that they'd be wanting it elsewhere in a few years.

I kept hoping that Apple would do, essentially, a folding, clam-shell double-tick iPhone.
Apple could easily come up with one if they wanted to, and one that would unfold with
the two screens butted up together.

This Courier tablet looks pretty good, though.

I see there is more recent speculation of Apple being in talks with newspaper, magazine,
and book publishers for an upcoming, unnamed device:

http://www.macobserver.com/tmo/article/ ... ws_papers/

Subscription-based purchases of newspapers, etc., for an upcoming Apple tablet
appear very likely. It certainly would be more than an expensive book reader, and
likely could serve at a netbook, remove keyboard/mouse device for other computer
systems, etc. I see also that Apple just bought an online map service. So, more
content for mobile devices.

Hearing Gates talk, Microsoft does tend to shoot for the stars. Mind you, they almost always fail, but they try.

I always thought the preview pictures for that thing were quite deceptive.
They would show a dark screen on one side and light screen on the
other, almost always making one blend in with the seam in between.
