If you feel so strongly about Savage Dragon, why didn't you make it one of the initial choices?

Because I think I'd be the only one interested in it and even I didn't vote for it as my number one.

That's a pretty decent top five. If Alias counts as a superhero run, I'd put it above Daredevil, though the two are neck and neck for me.

My favorite so far is the Busiek/Nord Conan. They did a hell of a job on that run.

I think it was 2002, I was sliding in between 2 parked cars and my belt made a big scratch down the side of this one tuner, with the guy and girl in it! Man, I ran like HELL.

My favorite read has been Joe Kubert's Tor, but that was a mini-series.

From your list, I went with Johns on Green Lantern - he took a character many didn't want back for being too boring and completely revitalized the entire franchise. The series has held up very well from arc to arc and always makes the top of my monthly pile.

Tiny Titans has gotta get an honorable mention though. It's crazy how much I enjoy that series.

I LOVE Johns' Green Lantern. I own every hardcover, I think Reis is the best super-hero artist out there right now and I'm about to buy some original art from the series. I think that the "Sinestro Corps war" was great fun from beginning to end. I'm loving "Blackest Night." However, I do wish that Johns would bring Hal back down to earth every once in a while just for an issue to fight an earth enemy and ground the book a little. It is in danger of becoming too "cosmic" and losing touch with that "human element" that endears a story to me.

If "Blackest Night" ends well, I might promote it higher than #4.

I'm really hoping that Blackest Night will be a "darkest before the dawn" kind of thing... starting with zombified heroes and ending with a lot of old favorites returned to life. To return the DCU to a more positive place, which was the unfulfilled promise of Infinite Crisis.

I suddenly realize how few new superhero comics I read in the last 10 years.

I read PAD's Captain Marvel back in 2002. Does that count, can I vote for that?

Today my favorite books are X-Men Forever (Claremont/Grummett), Batman & Robin, House Of Mystery (Vertigo), and of course Mouse Guard.

If i had to choose only one book right now i'ld be tempted to take Batman & Robin as being the best.
But i decided to follow only one it would be X-Men Forever, because it is really good and i would have it more often and more regularly.

My vote goes to Godland (can't recall the names of the guys who did it). That's fucking great stuff.

Second place, for me, goes to All-Star Superman. I completely loved that.

No mention of Moore's ABC line in here?

For some reason I was thinking those were in the 90s. Tom Strong would definitely make my top 10, then.
