I mocked my wife mercilessly for her True Blood fangirliness. I watched the pilot when it aired, and thought it was wretched.
However, I've watched the last 3 episodes of this season, and I gotta say, it's pretty damn good. I don't dare admit that to her, though.
(Darin, stay far far away from True Blood. Even if you're slightly curious about it, avoid it like the plague. I'd rather not read the rant it would generate.)

"Children of the night... shut up!" Seen it. But we need some more parody stuff, particularly with all the artsy-fartsy romanticized vampire material out there now. Now werewolf movies? The good ones are few and far between. The only ones I've liked are Bad Moon, American Werewolf in London and Silver Bullet... even though the latter two have pretty dated special effects.
