Man, I had forgotten how inept this movie was. No memorable songs... Adrian Zmed... lame plot. Best part has been the twin sisters of Peggy Bundy... although they're not wearing that in the movie.

An ex-girlfriend of mine claimed that was one of her favorite movies. I couldn't believe that. I personally have no happy attachments to the original, but how on Earth could you like the sequel.

They should have made the movie about THIS guy, instead. He has more than enough original and parody songs to fill a musical...

Knew a guy in college who loved it, because it had Michelle Pfeifer in it... he turned out to be gay, so I don't take that as a ringing endorsement.
I don't think I could hum one of the tunes if you put a gun to my head. Maybe "Reproduction".

Poor, poor, Grease 2.
A mediocre movie made even worse by poor editing. I know a few people that were in film and they were all disapointed with the way it turned out.
Many scenes which fleshed out a LOT of the characters and relationships were cut.

I really like the 4 Tops' opening number, "Back to School Again." Best (only good) thing about the movie.

My wife really likes this movie.
She's a big fan of Grease the movie but likes the second one better

I'll admit to having seen this movie before the original Grease,
and that I like Grease 2 better.
A High School friend and I both saw this movie about a half dozen times when it came out,
and we kept watching it primarily for Michelle Pfeifer and Jean and Liz Sagal.
Thanks for that picture, Steven.

I saw Grease in the theatre when it can out. Never have seen all of Grease 2, just the odd bit here and there when it's on TV. Never felt compelled to watch it so I'd just change the channel.

It's an abomination, not on the level of "Secret Wars II", but close.

Again, Secret Wars II gave us Meltdown (irony, anyone?), so I'm grateful for that.

First Grease has that mildly plausible thing about it, seeing how its based on the experiences of the writers in the late 50s. They're all doing the sort of things kids of that era *wished* they were doing (while the really cool kids were), and had a pleasant enough romance between two people from different worlds.
The second is just pure Hollywood trash where half the stuff that happens *only* happens in the movies.
And the difference between the songs is night and day. The first one has a lot of great songs... the second has none.
