Frank Cho-- Yea or Nay?

I think the guy's got one of the most attractive art styles in comics today. His Apes and Babes book is killer.

I don't just mean women, but yeah. I think he's got a gift for gesture.

This.

I think this is most of the battle for comic book artists. Get the gesture, the basic motion of the figure.

I'd say yes, I stopped buying Conan of Cimmeria with issue 3(switched to trades to save a little money), but he does some great work.

Haven't seen enough of his stuff to judge, like that first image tho, which says a lot coz I dislike that type of fantasy in general.

I think he did the She-Hulk vs Rulk story in Hulk 7-9(Art Adams did the Hulk story), it was nice.

He draws Spider-Man as a stocky little Asian man.

He does great cheesecake, but his storytelling isn't his strong suit.

His strip work was very hit and miss.

Frank Cho is a fantastic illustrator and great at figure drawing. His sequential work is underwhelming. I feel the same way about Phil Noto.

No denying his talent, although I would like to see a little more range. We get it, you can draw asses.
