I just get the impression that she's not going to take the music biz by storm again with an album as good as Back To Black.It's just an impression,a gut feeling,not based on anything I've heard of her recently.In fact I haven't heard anything of her recently.The media hype might be less frenzied for the next one.

Oh yes,and does she have anything new to offer apart from the sleazy r n' b Billie Holiday schtick ?By the the third album comes along audiences expect a change in the formula a little.Hope she doesn't go the same way as Joss Stone who didn't change her style from one album to the next.

She has been recording for months, but nothing came out of the sessions except for a couple of half-baked songs.

Yeah....sad..... majority of people heard Rehab and nothing more. She has real talent.....just a "few" issues!?
I'd like to think she's rid herself of that asshole hubby of hers. That seemed to be a major problem. After that, let's hope some good friend can put her back on track. I think the new album will come sooner or later, and there will be a few gems on there.

Perhaps she can get some interesting lyrics out of her bad experiences. And the good ones, for that matter. She's a hedonist and not ashamed about it, and I like her for that. I just hope she doesn't kill herself with her excessive lifestyle.

I still haven't bought her debut, but have seen it on sale. I think it's gone mid-price.
