Did they publish any other Earth-2 stories that month besides these? Attachment: ___earth2month.jpg

Was that the month that they introduced Huntress? I seem to remember something involving Jay Garrick in the regular Flash comic, maybe?

That's really great. I can't read the artist's name. Who is it? The only bit I don't like it Superman's face, in part because he's blushing and in part because it's not awesome. But otherwise that's great.

The Batman cover is cool also. I love that era of DC comics.
That era of DC comics means the following to me: sitting on the school bus, passing them around, and reading "Answer Man" with my friends. Those are "older brother" comics to me, full of mystery.

Cool -- there must've just been a coincidental "40th anniversary of Action/300th issue of Batman" synchronicity thing that month then.

That issue of Action made the national news. They ran news stories about Superman and Lois finally marrying, then closed the story with, "but, it happened in an alternate universe."

What's great is that people are just remembering these for being great and/or favorite stories, not for "do they fit into pre/post insert-your-favorite-crisis here" continuity.

That issue of Wonder Woman was actually the first to be set back on Earth-1 in quite awhile. The book had been featuring adventures of the Earth-2 Wonder Woman to tie in to the first season of the TV show.

I want all of those comics in that pic above except for the Superboy and Legion, which I have. I can't imagine Marvel comics being better.
No Brave & Bold that month?

Brave & the Bold was bimonthly for most of the 70's (which is why Aparo had time to do Spectre and Aquaman stories in Adventure, and other projects).

Nope. It was bi-monthly at the time.

The Batman story was more of an alternate future rather than a specific Earth 2 story. The Robin costume is the same as the Earth 2 Robin wore.
