Here is a paper model I built of the Gemini 4 capsule. It's all just parts printed on an inkjet printer and cut out and glued together.

You should find a way to use Rukia from Bleach somehow. She's hot.

In other news, OMG I love the pink and white polka dots on top of IMWAN today. Whee.

I'd make this photo my desktop, Brotoro, but I'm kind of attached to my "Marble Universe". Created by scientists with too much time on their hands. :ohyes:

But if I ever decide to change it... then I'd definitely go with this. Just wonderful... :)

I accidentally "discovered" the asteroid Pallas while taking pictures of Comet Hyakutake in 1996. While comparing two photos of the comet taken on March 20 and 21, I noticed a dim 'star' that had moved between the two exposures. A little investigation showed it was Pallas, the second largest asteroid.

The pictures were 5 minute exposures on ASA 400 print film using a 50mm lens at f/1.7 aperture. The camera was mounted on a telescope to track the sky. I put the two images together in a little animation to show the motion of Pallas.

Pallas was actually discovered by H. Wilhelm Olbers on March 28, 1802.

Wow! That must've been a big moment for you. :ohyes: I'm so happy that you find studying the stars and space such an important part of your life...obviously you do care almost as much about about what's (or who's) out there as much as you do what's (who's) here on Earth. Am I right about that?
:)
