Product Description
Digitally remastered two-CD set containing a pair of albums from the '80s New Wave/Pop band on one disc: All For One (1982) and Little Robbers (1983). All Four One features the U.S. Top 10 hit `Only The Lonely', while Little Robbers includes the hit 'Suddenly Last Summer'. The Motels began as an exciting alternative to L.A.'s male-dominated Power Pop and New Wave scenes. Critics and locals loved them but commercial acceptance and success didn't arrive until their third and fourth albums, both of which are contained here. Lead singer Martha Davis dissolved the band in 1987, only to reform again in 1998. BGO. 2009.

Excellent news! If you are only to have two to pick from their catlg these would be the two.
The fact that they are remastered (from BGO) and on 1 disc makes this even more compelling. Put me down for this!

Ideal Copy now has this with track listings, and the ALL FOUR ONE reissue includes all the (really good) bonus tracks on the long out-of-print '99 reissue on Capitol.

Add this to the must get list. Generally as re-issue labels go I find may of theirs quite respectable although often I find the first pressings people seem to bash BGO for some reason or other.

Anything else I can tell you? Yip, extensive background capsule sleeve notes and full lyrics.
Anyone say the sound? Sorry just in from work rather tired so ripped open the amazon packaging but haven't put in the CDP. I've gotta pay for the loot somehow.

I am always pleased with releases on BGO -- I love that they include notes and lyrics -- I'm a sucker for "original" packaging elements! Thanks for the update Kaja.

Disc 2 sound quality.
Impressive with good dynamic range. I don't want anyone here to run away with the notion it's up in MSFL or AF territory but it's a very good commercial re-master on a par with UK EMI releases of the late 80's early 90's. Certainly a good deal better than any of the issues done at Hollywood and Vine this decade I've heard.
Excellent value for money.
