"The Real Dusty Springfield"?
I don't understand the reason for this title.

I love Dusty, but she is being comped out.

If you've been collecting her U.S.A. & UK Universal Music CD archival releases & Rhino U.S.A. product, you'll know that the vaults have been emptied of everything except more(presumably inferior) alternate vocal takes over the familiar backing tracks. What else could they(Universal) dig up, her pre-Springfields work with The Lana Sisters? I would think that Universal will dig that stuff up one of these days.

As if there wasn't enough Dusty Springfield compilations on the market already....

Somebody at Universal must have heard you, Anthony, because that part of the title has been dropped and now the comp is simply going to be called [lilred]Just Dusty[/lilred]. They've also added 3 more tracks for a total of 26. (See updated cover image and tracklisting in the first post.)
