Wonder if they will try to fit into the Jones Beach mini-stadium type of show or have to play a small arena like our Westbury? I'm not sure if their is a big demand for them after all these years.

They'll probably play theaters like the Grove in Anaheim[where the Merchants Of Cool dvd was shot].

Whichever, let's go. I never saw them in the 70s, and missed them on the previous reunion tour.

I actually saw The Burning Sky tour at MSG in the 70's. They were at the top of their game in those days. That was quite a show. A section of seats at the Garden were set on fire as the concert ended. I've never seen that happen all these years later.

Gotta say here-why the criticism for reuiniting? It's a legitimate lineup (although the late Boz Burrell will be missed), and Rodgers is still the best singer in Rock.
Should we also bash every other act currently touring for the money? Jeff Beck? Doesn't he have enough money? No? Yes? What do I care? I'm still seeing him in April. Fleetwood Mac? Do they really need another penny? No? Yes? Who gives a crap? Jackson Browne is touring again? Does he need to? Probably not. Does U2? Hell no-who gives a damn. Does Chicago who are touring with Earth, Wind & Fire yet again? Who cares? Newsflash-It's always been about money. Nobody has to go if they don't want to, and trust me, the prices are still ridiculous no matter how bad things are (and they are for us), but if these artists want to keep touring,a s long as they can put on good shows, I don't care.
I have no problems bashing bogus lineups like Foghat and Creedence Clearwater Revisited, but Bad Company haven't toured in a while. This isn't a bogus version of the band. I saw the reunion tour in '99 and it was excellent. No frills Rock-no huge Marshall stacks and lasers-just the band and their instruments. That show was on a hideous 102 degree night in Philly 4th of July weekend but a crowd of between 8,000-10,000 were on hand and it was damn good.
I'll definitely see them again, but I'd figure on theaters or House Of Blues type venues. Sorry for the rant, but the whole music business is about money (or in some cases, lack of it)!

I have read also that Bad Company has retained their tapes of mastered recordings so expect a new Greatest Hits and possible remasters of their catlg which could really use some updating.

The only album of theirs that doesn't need a new remaster is their 1st one that was redone in 06 by Steve Hoffman.

Now why on earth would he do something like--

Oh yeah. 8-)

Hey, at least Paul Rodgers is singing with the right group this time. And while Boz is gone, they still have one more original member in the lineup than they did on the last Bad Co tour from a few years back.

I was at this show too , my friend that I went with got tossed for lighting off firecrackers . The NYPD brought him into a room where they had photos of injuries that peopled suffered due to fireworks at concerts . He said it was pretty nasty stuff.
I don't think they could come close to selling out Jones Beach unless it was a really good package tour. It would be nice to see though.

No offense, Don, but they did the right thing. I've never understood why people do that.

I was at a Judas Priest show in 1986 when all of a sudden there was this BOOM! that came from the floor seats. The irony is that bands were not allowed to use pyro at the venue.

Holy crap would that be awesome. I have been waiting years for newly remastered Bad Co. CDs (with bonus tracks I hope). I read a new best-of was on the way as well as a live CD/DVD from the reunion show last year.
Ironically, the only remaster I have is my lone Hoffman disc of "Bad Co." and I have it on ebay right now (times are very tough!)
I can't believe they played "Gone Gone Gone" at the reunion show-that is one of my favorite Bad Co. tunes and I used to hear that on the radio a decent amount way back when.
Again, the show I saw in '99 in Philly was a great show.
Can't remember the order, but I know they played all these:

Can’t get enough
Honey child
Rock steady
Ready for love
Good lovin' gone bad
Tracking down a runaway
Shooting star
Seagull
Soul of love (Rodgers solo acoustic)
Movin' on
Hammer of love
Young blood
Hey, Hey
Feel like making love
Rock and roll fantasy
Run with the pack
Bad Company

Even more ironically, I just finished buying the remasters of the classic Bad Co albums. I purchased the Audio Fidelity version of the debut a while back and figured I might as well get these albums on CD after all these years.

No offense taken , I had no idea he was gonna do it until he did it . I agree they did the right thing . He is now a member of the NYPD , nearing retirement.

I've always felt the mid 90's remaster of the Bad Co debut was really well done; possibly the best sounding of the mid 90's WEA catalog remaster series.

If they do tour I hope they play my favorite Bad Co song, "Silver, Blue and Gold" :)

When I saw the set list above, I thought the exact same thing. LOVE that song.
