I thought I'd share a piece of art done for a book titled VAMPIRE UNIVERSE by author Jonathan Maberry, being published by Kensington Publishing next month. In addition to vampires, the book covers all sorts of mythic beings including ghosts which happens to be the subject I chose to depict.

OK, if you keep posting such nice stuff like this, I'm going to ban you! You're making my stuff look even worse!!!

Just kidding, Joe. :D

Wow, what a great piece. What did you use to create it? Pen nibs?

Wow! I get a really cool "Bernie Wrightson" sort of vibe off that. Good job!

I appreciate the kind words, Matthew.
Actually, this was drawn with a black flair marker, cheapskate that I am

Looking forward to posting more stuff in time - the possibility of getting banned really makes me feel like one of the guys 8-)

Thanks so much, David - that's quite a compliment though I'm certainly no Bernie Wrightson. The detail he puts into pieces (his Frankenstein pieces come to mind) is just masterful!
Thanks again.
