All of those titles say they're on sale "about" the ___ of every month.
"About?" How unprofessional. They grew roses in the Golden Age.

My "Lifetime Big Six" would be:
Amazing Spider-Man Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man Fantastic Four Incredible Hulk Alpha Flight X-Men (circa 1980 to 1983, it changed to have "Uncanny" in there somewhere).

Interesting idea!
Of the list in the pic, Superman's my choice, natch.
For me personally, my big six are--
Action Comics Savage Dragon Mighty Thor Incredible Hulk Madman The Avengers
I ran out of room for Hellboy.

My all-time big six would be: Amazing Spider-Man Spectacular Spider-Man Fantastic Four New Teen Titans Detective Batman Also I cannot mention often enough my love of PADs Supergirl run, even if it was too short-lived to make a list like this.

It seems DC was fond of the number 6 in the 60s. To wit:
My Greatest Adventure Tales of the Unexpected Mystery in Space Strange Adventures House of Mystery House of Secrets
Girl's Love Stories Girl's Romance Heart Throbs Secret Hearts Falling in Love Young Love
Our Army at War Our Fighting Forces G.I. Combat All American Men of war Star Spangled war Stories Blackhawk (that one may be a strech, but never let fact get in the way of a good theory)
Bob Hope Jerry Lewis Dobie Gillis Fox and Crow Sugar and Spike Binky/Buzzy/Rudolph (depends on the specific year)
And at one time their street address number was 666.

"About?" How unprofessional. They grew roses in the Golden Age. They came out on certain days of the week, which fluctuated based on how long the months were.
